  1. Anybody have tips or advice for getting a lower interest rate on your credit card?

I know we have all seen a handful of tips and advice on this subject! I personally have been gathering information on this subject and I get know real answers. The most common answer is," Just call your bank and tell them you have another offer and you're going to balance transfer if you do not give me a better rate". I'm thinking, really it's that easy!
But what I see the most is companies that say they will "negotiate your credit card interest," always ends up being a settlement company, or law firm handling settlements. It just shows me there is no true information on how to negotiate your credit card interest rates.
I'm just wondering if there is some true knowledge of exactly what to do.
Please reply back if you know any great tips or advice! I think everyone could benefit from the combined knowledge of every persons post.

3. If you're in a workout agreement and you haven't made your payments as agreed.

4. If you're more than 60 days late with a payment. (Late payers can earn back their previous rate

What I am finding out is more and more collectors will be using" social networking searches in 2011. Consumers are now visiting more social networking sites then ever before. Now creditors can see your posts and possiable track you down with the information you put online. Now they can not message you or leave a nasty comment by law.

In the end, though, if you're indebted to a collection agency, they'll usually use any lawful means to contact you -- including intensive social

Credit Card Fees - SDFinch

Many credit cards have fees. You will want to read your credit card agreement carefully to make sure you understand all the fees associated with your card. You can use the Federal Reserve's consumer credit card agreements search to find general examples of the type and range of fees a credit card may have. Here are some common fee terms to look for:
