Mint.com Free site to track pretty much everything money related, and it is Intuit so pretty reputable. Bankrate.com's Investment Goal Calculator Free calculator you can manipulate to see how much you need to invest, at what return rate, to reach an amount you want. Pretty cool. What other tools do you use?
Sounds like a good idea. Most banks and credit unions offer free budgeting software now as well, which is something people can try if they aren't already using mint.com or quicken, etc.
