Gas-savings credit card recommendations?
Can anyone recommend a solid credit card that offers savings on gas and other things too? i don't want to just get a Shell card or whatever.

There are plenty of rewards cards out there... just search for "rewards credit cards" on google.

Was looking for gas credit card RECOMMENDATIONS
I was looking specifically for cards that offer good rebates on GAS, not just general rewards and was hoping for some recommendations. I applied for the Lifespring Health Everyday rewards Visa and the Chase Perfect Card MC. The Lifespring one looks better but I applied for both just in case I get turned down from one.

Have you tried Conoco Visa? They used to do 5% on gas and 1% on everything else, but I'm not sure if they still do.

Chase offers two real nice cards. The BP, which is 10% for 60 days, 5% after and the chase perfect card, which is 6%. Discover is also pretty decent. Just make sure you pay the balances off in full or it isnt worth it.

I will defintely recommend Discover Open Road. This card offers 5% cashback on gas purchases, # 5% to 20% Cashback Bonus at top online retailers, Up to 1% Cashback Bonus on all other purchases and an Unlimited cash rewards.
