Credit Companies will Scrub your back round sometimes once a month. And sometimes when You ask questions they will do it again. Terms and Conditions give them all the rights, because afterall they are giving you the money.

If you were also "shopping for credit" with other institutions, it would show up on your credit report as you requesting for credit.
When you credit card company saw this they would have deemed you as a high risk client and shut down your card. Like Armshark said, it is their money, and they are doing you a favor.

I do agree, it is the credit cards money and they are lending you money but it is a 50-50 exchange. They are lending you money but you are paying it back at a higher rate, in which they are making a lot of money from doing this; so there should be customer loyalty. Have you rang the company up and asked them why they have closed it down?
