Thread: warning- beware of this company.

I wanted to get a free Credit Report. went to this website https://www.freecreditreportservice.co.uk

Was asked to fill out a form entered my details. not realizing this was signing me into a membership service to a company called www.highcreditscore.co.uk And they also signed me to another company called rewards now. both companies were taking £19.95 each out of my account each month. sometimes they took the amount twice.

tried emailing them the emails bounced back. I manage to speak to someone on the phone. they refused to pay back any of the money. Its daylight robbery they take all that money you're unable to cancel it. only by canceling your card. It took me ages to get through. its only since I've been warning people I notice they answer your emails & call. & I've noticed they've change some info on the website. But Please still beware of them.

If you used a credit card yo need only call the number on your card and dispute the charges. It's called a chargeback and most credit card companies will reimburse you for these online scams. The burden of proof is on them not you.

If you are in the UK i would suggest you contact Experian, Equifax or Call Credit if you want a free credit report. Although they only offer it free for the first thirty days then they charge you a monthly fee from your credit card.
