I'm trying to figure out if this debt is definitely SoL. Last payment was made in 1999. Here's the problem: I lived in NC until 2004 where the SoL would have been 5 yrs and I now reside in OH....and the SoL is 15 yrs.

After TONS of research I found S.B. 80 ORC 2305.03 (OH revised borrowing statute) but I have noticed two versions on the Internet...one version states that if the action occured in another state then the SoL applies there...and the other version states the creditor has to go by his/her state statutes...either way, I have no idea what SoL applies...(the creditor is from PA) all I want to know is what SoL to go by so I can send them a letter to stop calling me
