My credit card was change to a variable rate without my permission.

The credit card was change to a variable rate, but they were not allowed to do that because I rejected the changes to the new terms last year. I have 60 days to dispute this change. I tried emailing the questions about and never got a clear cut answer. It was over their head.

Do you think the feds will raise the interest rate this year? The reason, I am asking this. The variable rate is now 7% and the flat rate was 12%
I can get more paid down this way.

The credit card company also failed to notify me of this change within 45 days. It would of fall under the new law.

I know I could get them for breach of contract and failure to notify me.

So it's benefiting you right now, but won't if rates take a decent jump?

Well, you could take your time working on getting things fixed back the way you like (or let them take their time, better said), but until then enjoy the perk of lower interest and take advantage to pay down your balance even more.

Document everything you send them in writing so that you have proof of what you've done later. That's about all I know to suggest. Anyone else?
