Default Getting out of a LOST Contract

I bought a car a couple weeks ago. I was lied to from day one. They told me that the car had been serviced for 10 years at their dealership, they day I bought it was the first time it had ever been there.

But that is not the point....

The bank/dealership has lost the contract twice and they want me to sign again. I AM NOT GOING TO DO IT. I want to return the car. Can I do so, and How can I get my down payment back.

Any ideas are appreciated. Thanks much,
    Rob

Whoa... that's highly suspicious and I don't blame you for not signing again. Not sure about getting down payment returned. I don't know the answer to your questions here, but I hope someone does and we can both learn from it.

Good luck. If you figure it out elsewhere, it'd be great if you posted the results afterwards here as well.

I spoke with the bank. They funded the loan and now the dealership has 5 days to produce the ORIGINAL contract and give it to the bank, otherwise give the bank their money back. And then they will come for the car, and I will demand my money back.

Cool - nice to have the bank on your side at least.
