Default Collection account past the SOL

I have an account on my report from progressive Ins for 134.00 that is showing as a collection account from DLA 8/04. I looked up the FLorida SOL and it is 4 for open and 5 years for written this is a 5 year old debt can I demand it taken off? It is only showing on TU not any of the others, the sick thing is I am a current Progressive ins customer. What should I do, debt validation or good will leter?
I also have an AT&T from 7/05 for $60.00 again past the SOL, this is only showing on Equifax as a Charge Off. FL statutes state SOL for open accounts as 4 years what can I do there P.S. again I am a current AT&T customer.

Debt validation sounds like a reasonable way to go, with specific mention of the statute of limitations.

I did some reading and it seems a deletion due to the SOL is not something that happens is this true? From what I read the SOL is just the limit they have to sue you for the Debt, to be honest with these small balances I was thinking of a PFD but not sure if there is a proticall for that, like DV first then PFD?
