Default Remove 30 days late on my car loan payment

Is there a way to get rid of the 30 day late payments on my credit report? I was reviewing my credit report like you said and I do not think I was as late on my car payments as the car company is saying. I even printed out my payment history with them and it is not clearly evident that I was late nor on time. ------------------- car loans and home loans are the hardest thins to get off your

Try disputing utilzing " I do not recall being late on this account, please delete this information."

Keep in mind you did not actually say you were not late, just that you do not "recall" this places the burden back on the CR. you will want to send the leter certified receipt.(to track time they recieved).

about 26 days after receipt, you will want to send a follow up letter stating that you have recently disputed item(s) (attach copy of origonal letter & copy of reciept verfication). and state that it is your understanding under the law that the CR must respond within 30 days or delete or adjust the account as you have indicated. (send this letter certified receipt also)

this letter will arrive ~ on 30 day -- so when processing agent recieve, they will look at case and seed the response was not recieved and so process per law.

If you use "i was never late" all they have to do is verify that the file states late.

Remember credit bureaus do not have to investigate, they only have to verify. Going that route boxes you in. Once it's been verified, any further disputes will probably be marked as frivolous.

A better way is to simply state "inaccurate". Then they have to figure out whats wrong. If they come back with verification that it was late - you still have options.

i.e. "i was not late in the month you are stating" now they have to prove which month it was late.

Never box yourself in.
