Pay To Delete Method vs Disputing
I've been reading about both methods to fix credit and would like opinions on which method has been most successful for you or what you would recommend. I was going to type up my 'pay to delete' letters but am wondering if disputing through the bureaus might be quicker and more cost efficient.
My negative accounts are legitimate but a google search led me to a thread here regarding success in disputing details of a legitimate account (amounts, dates, etc) and having them removed.
Any suggestions or advice? Thanks in advance!

Why not try both, starting with the dispute strategy? Then, for accounts that aren't effectively disputed, move on to the pay-for-delete.
