Old Paid Collection Items-Help!!
Scenario; paid collections (5 total) back in 2006- have documentation-cancelled checks, letters from collections agency per agreement to pay. Fast forward: New collections agency showed up on my credit report reporting same 5 debts as unpaid. forwarded proof to all three credit bureaus- report updated to show as paid collections to current collection agency, but I did not pay them... and that I

Tell them the debts are paid and you have recipts to prove them. You could just call them, their number is on your credit report. Tell them they have 15 days to remove the items or you will be forced to file a lawsuit, report the to the bbb and report them to your attorney general.
