Thread: Need to get new good credit but I get turned down

I am 21 years old and I am now starting to understand how the whole credit thing plays into "the real world" I have two chargeoffs that are paid in full and my credit score is a 548, how can I go about rebuilding my credit. I am looking to buy a house in the next two years, my fiancé however has excellent credit, but I want to rebuild mine just to have better credit. HELP please!!!--------------

Dispute, Dispute, Dispute. Get some new credit accounts, probably need a credit building card like orchard or first premier, and pay those accounts ever month. Also keep the utilization of those cards under 35%. i.e. Your credit limit is 1000, also keep you balance below 350$.
