    Default How to get a bk off credit report

    I have a bankruptcy on my credit report that was discharged in 06/01 I have disputed it many times only to have it come back as "verified" though they send me NOTHING as to how it was "verified". When I filed in 01, they way things were set up is it would stay on report for 7 years, well 9 years later and it's still there and my score is still under 600. Now they are saying 10-12 before you have a chance for it to come off.

    The length of stay is from the date of discharge, not from the filing date. When was it discharged?
