Collections...
In most cases with creidt repair, you don't need an attorney. If the collection is accurate, contact them and offer them 40% (this is a good starting point) of what is stated that you owe. some companies will not come off their figures at all.
This process will normally not work if the amount you owe is $100 or less, but it never hurts to try.
Before you send any money (send registered mail)...get a letter from the collection agency with them stating what they have agreed to, and you need to write down who you spoke with, their direct phone number, the time and the date just in case any issues come up.
Make sure you keep an eye on this, alot of times when they get your money, they will take their time getting it off your credit.
Good Luck!
