    Default Creditor not playing fair

    Hey Bo, I sent a creditor a debt validation letter as per your advice. They failed to respond within the thirty days required by the FCRA. I sent the letter certified and I have proof that it was received. I sent a second letter to inform them that they have failed to verify this debt and by law MUST remove it from my credit file. That letter was also sent by certified mail. I still havent had

    you need to now send a letter to the collection bureaus. If they verify with them before they verify with you they are in violation and you could have a lawsuit. So go ahead and write the credit bureaus. If they verify then you can do something.
