Thread: Credit Repair List for DUMMIES

Ok, I'm somewhat credit-savy, but I wanted to see a basics list put together for quick reference.

I will start what I know to be true, and please feel free to add anything I may have left out.

1. Pay your bills on time

2. DONT exceed more than 50% of your available credit limit

3. DONT cancel any CC's. If you do make sure they are the most recently opened CC.

4. Watch your credit report OFTEN

5. Pay in cash when you can

6. NEVER use payday loan services

7. Remain PROACTIVE in obtaining good credit

8. Live within your means

9. Pay YOURSELF 1st (this shouldve been at top of list)
