Default Bad or No credit credit cards help my FICO credit score

Get a new credit card, keep the credit card open for at least 12 months and your credit report FICO score will jump 10 to 50 points. I had a BP oil gas credit card charged off for 350 dollars in 1992. I paid the charge off in full after calling and talking to a manager and explained I wanted to re open the same account and be a good credit citizen. Once I paid the charge off I called the same
