    Default $100 medical bill

Proper way to do pay for delete? I do owe this $100 because they did not send the bill to the secondary insurance I had at the time (I don't have the secondary insurance anymore since divorce finalized). I just want to pay it so it will go away. The $100 bill is with a CA.

Certified mail - get everything in writing before you give them any money. If they'll agree to it, you're good to go.

OK. Do I just send them a note saying what I said in this post... that it appears that my secondary insurance was never billed and that I will pay the amount in full if they agree, in writing, to delete all information from TU, Experian, Equifax?

    Thanks much.

Did I read somewhere in here that medical CAs are different? Something with HIPAA?
