Default Student loan?

I am enrolled in a 3yr program, completed my 2nd yr and studyin part-time at the moment. I will b back in my nursing program nxt yr. I've gotten up to $10,000 of loans and i've started to explore means of repaying it bc i'm totally freaked out by the amount..I am looking for a job right now because I think since I've been a part-time student for at least the past 6 months, I need to start paying the loan..I don't know what to do...
So anyone knows if there r ways of paying it off asap perhaps through loan forgiveness programs? bursaries? In Quebec, of course.

Default She incurred over 50,000 in debt from student loans.

I and my wife are divorcing after 115 years of marriage. She incurred over 50,000 in debt from student loans. When we divorce is it legal for her lawyer to make me pay half her student loans which are only in her name. The loans were taken out while we were married. And if so can I make her pay half of my loans and other bills that are just in my name but have ruined my credit and they also were incurred during the marriage? Any help would be great.
