How to Increase auto score for Car Loan

So. I will have my car bought back from me. the car is $71k.
I'll receive money back and purchase a new car.. the problem is that my auto score has gone down to 497 because of 2 late payments. Once the car is paid off my Credit rating should jump up right since its a large loan that will be paid off.

I need over a 600 to qualify again.
I have a cc @3800 with a $4k limit which i will pay off when i receive the check
another with $500 Limit and im at $400.

How much shall my score increase after this... Im using true credit and my score is 100 higher than stated at this specifice dealer..

I need my experian score *UP UP!!*

Any suggestions?
I've written letters before, as i just want to see if there is anything else i can do.

Tax Lien - Need advice!

I have a state tax lien that has posted the wrong amount on my credit reports. Here are my questions.

1. Should I dispute the amout or will the date start all over again? The amount is showing 800.00 more than what I owe.

2. The Lien is mostly fees because i lost my W-2's and they are so old that they can't even reprint them for me. Should I talk to an accountant to try and get the correct amount lowered or will the accountant charge me to much?

3. Do you think I should set-up an appt with the state to try and get the amount lowered myself?

Thank you in advance for any help.

I need to get this off my reports ASAP due to job applications and mortgage shopping.

My ex and I are on a CC together, furniture loan, and loan for carpeting installation. Since our break up she has kept all of this property, and attempted to make payments. I have letters/e-mails from her acknowledging that she is completely responsible for these items and further proof coming from the fact that she is the only one making payments, however she is out of work and no longer making payments.

Do I have any chance of getting these lines of credit off of my credit report?

agency trying to collect debt after it left my report

Hi guys,

I previously had an unpaid credit card balance that had been sitting on my report for a long time. It went to collections and the company harassed me for a bit, but because I didn't have any money at the time, I couldn't pay the debt. I got a new job in January and have been able to pull myself out of the rest of my debts, with this one lingering. However, it hit the 7 year mark in April, and when I pulled a credit report in June, it had been removed from my credit report. Naturally, I had a moment of euphoria at finally being debt free.

With this debt finally off my report, I had a clean report and a credit score of 710. With that score, and having thought that my credit was finally fixed, I worked with a mortgage broker and am interested in buying a house in my area.

Today, in the mail, I just received a letter from the collections agency (Cavalry Portfolio) with a lot of flashy jingoism on it, claiming to be a "Fresh Start Program" and offering to take 30 percent off the original debt amount.

I had thought the debt cleared, as it had been 7 years since the last action on the account and my June report did not have this debt listed anymore. I can't check my report now because my realtor has stated that I shouldn't let anyone pull my credit report now as it might affect my mortgage.

My first instinct, which I resisted, was to call the collections agency and ask wtf, but I thought it might be wiser to get some information here before doing that. I'm worried that this will hurt my chances to get final approval for my mortgage, and I feel like I'm in over my head with this.

What are my options here, and what options do I have if I go through with my mortgage and this pops up to sabotage my report?
